Events in Border Country

Untamed Border Events may be new to the scene as event hosts, but our founding members have many years’ experience of competing in triathlon, running, mountain biking and adventure races. Most of all, we have a passion for challenging ourselves in the great outdoors. With the dream to share beautiful, normally not publicly accessible land with others who share the passion, we launched our inaugural Untamed Border Run in 2023.  The incredible feedback from the 200 entrants who walked, ran and skipped across the mountains spurred us on to dream bigger.  

We now stand as a fully Incorporated not-for-profit association, based on our love and respect for the outdoors, but also with a desire to give back to the community. Our original organising committee has grown from four to nine people, each willing to donate their time, knowledge and experience to Untamed Border Events.

Thank you for joining us as we dream of future events that inspire, challenge and evoke awe in our beautiful surroundings. Together we will have fun, find new trails, cheer each other on, bring sporting tourism and financial injection into our local communities. 

We look forward to seeing you at Untamed Border Run on Saturday 22 June and at the Untamed Goat Track Run on Sunday 23^rd June, 2024.
